The Great Bustard.
The Great Bustard has been extinct in the United Kingdom since early Victorian times. There is hope that it can be re-introduced. The Great Bustard breeds in southern and central Europe and across temperate Asia. There are large populations of the Great Bustard in Hungary, Portugal, Russia and Spain.
